Stanley Healthcare provides real-time location systems (RTLS) and sensor technology to help hospitals track assets, secure patients, and collect clinical workflow data. Facing the challenge of turning large volumes of RTLS data into actionable insight for clinicians and administrators, Stanley evaluated multiple analytics platforms and selected Tableau for its performance, APIs, support, and ease of use.

Stanley integrated Tableau Server into its product (branded as Mobile View Analytics), using Tableau Desktop to build visualizations that are served inside hospital workflows. The result: clear, interactive views of each phase of care—wait times, prep, procedure length and variability—so hospitals can spot staffing bottlenecks, measure interventions, and improve the patient experience while leveraging cheaper, high-volume sensor data.
