St. Mary’s Bank, the first credit union in the U.S. with more than 100 years of service and 100,000+ members, faced fragmented legacy systems that made it hard to get a holistic view of data, engage staff broadly, and reliably track loan and transaction accuracy across the organization.

The bank built a cloud data warehouse on AWS, adopted Tableau (with connections to Snowflake) and a rules engine from Arkatechture, and replaced manual reports with dashboards and staff training/office hours. As a result they resolved nearly 40,000 data errors, automated reporting to save roughly 15 hours per week, scaled Tableau usage across the organization (160+ users), and now run fast, cost‑effective analyses on over $1 billion in customer assets—improving branch operations, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
