Handok, a 60-year South Korean pharmaceutical and healthcare company, needed to become more data-driven. Its analytics were siloed and limited to 20 static report types, relied on manual spreadsheets and IT for reporting, and couldn’t combine external data or empower nontechnical staff—constraining sales visibility and forecasting for about 900 users.

Handok adopted Tableau Desktop and Server with partner PLAN‑iT to integrate 86 data marts, 140M+ rows of distribution data and millions of third‑party records, enabling interactive web and mobile dashboards. The rollout gave employees self-service analytics, real-time sales forecasting and KPI tracking, reduced silos, improved cross‑department collaboration, and faster, more strategic decisions on inventory and sales performance.
