The challenge was to quickly analyze and share complex, territory‑specific information from databases dating back to 2008 while keeping views relevant and secure for different users.

They implemented Tableau for its speed, cost, and clear visual appeal, building dashboards and deploying Tableau Server with user permissions so each client sees only their territory’s data. In about three months ORU published interactive dashboards on its site; 36 emergency departments reported new, actionable insights—improved transparency, chain‑of‑care analysis and clearer referral patterns—enabling deeper, people‑focused use of their data.
