Mediaschneider automates campaign reporting with Tableau Online

Mediaschneider is Switzerland’s largest independent media agency, serving clients like Swisscom, Manor and Sanitas. Its Interactive team (≈20 people) was overwhelmed by large volumes of web and social campaign data that were processed in complex Excel spreadsheets, producing slow, error-prone reporting and mistrust in ad-server KPIs. To gain reliable, consolidated metrics they decided to build their own data warehouse.

Working with partner D1 Solutions, Mediaschneider moved campaign data into an Amazon Redshift warehouse and built interactive Tableau Online dashboards. The new setup automated reporting, improved KPI trust and sped up access for internal and external users, freeing staff from manual preparation and enabling scalable plans to add TV, radio and print data and offer cross-channel campaign evaluation to clients.
