Mater built SPOT (Student Placement Online Tool) to manage student rosters and records, then integrated Tableau Desktop and Server to produce live, self‑service visualisations directly from the database. The combined solution delivers timely, refreshable reports (front‑end views load in ~30 seconds), helped Mater secure two initial grants, is now offered as a hosted solution to other organisations, and is being extended for workforce planning and wider internal adoption.
