Watts Water Technologies, a global manufacturer of plumbing, heating and water‑quality products with about $1.5 billion in revenue and 40 locations, was wrestling with 25 million transactions a year and limited to slow, row‑and‑column analysis in Excel that couldn’t deliver timely pricing insight or support a complex price‑realization report.

By implementing Tableau with help from Slalom and Tableau Consulting’s Server Rapid Start, the team built a dynamic dashboard that calculates price realization across markets and channels in about 30 seconds and is available on mobile devices. Server was configured with separate sites and Active Directory access so departments see only their data, rollout and extra training were completed quickly, and the result is faster, deeper insight, reduced reliance on Excel, empowered users and strong management buy‑in.
