Gammon Construction Limited, a leading Hong Kong construction and engineering contractor, faced slow, fragmented reporting: month-end financial packs ran to 120 pages, were costly to print, and relied on data from over 200 sources. The company needed a secure single source of truth with role-based access so different teams could get the right information without exposing sensitive data.

By rolling out Tableau (starting in finance in 2016) and leveraging its ease of use and governance features, Gammon created a governed, real-time analytics platform that scaled to 800 active users across departments. Static 120-page reports were replaced by one live, customizable dashboard per team, speeding insights, improving efficiency, and enabling faster, more focused data-driven decisions.
