Front Health, created by the Midwest Health Collaborative, provides data-driven clinical transformation to help providers and payers succeed in value-based care across more than 500,000 patients (including 45 hospitals and 1,900 care sites). Facing manual, ad hoc analyses delivered in Excel and PowerPoint that couldn’t scale or fit clinical workflows, Front Health needed an embedded analytics platform that would drive adoption across a wide range of users from executives to care managers.

Front Health adopted Tableau with a user-driven design process to build automated, workflow-aligned dashboards for total cost of care, quality and risk adjustment, and care management. The solution streamlined data prep (including Tableau Prep), freed engineering resources, and increased provider engagement; results include a 3% decrease in per-member-per-month spending trends and more than $1,000,000 in annual operational savings, plus broader client impact and visibility through Tableau Public.
