Preview of the French Red Cross Case Study

French Red Cross Increases Efficiency and Better Serves the Most Vulnerable People in France Using Tableau Visual Analytics

The French Red Cross, a national network with 54,000 volunteers, 18,112 employees and more than 1,870 sites, relies on information systems to support its health, social and humanitarian services. Faced with growing volumes of fragmented data and no easy way to analyse it, the organization launched a new business intelligence initiative to harmonize information and deliver timely insight to frontline managers.

Working with integrator Altic, the Red Cross implemented a Tableau‑based BI architecture and a new data warehouse for elderly sheltered accommodation (EHPAD)—live in just over eight weeks. Within three weeks of introducing Tableau they built their first dashboard, integrating 43 indicators from six sources, breaking down data silos, delivering real‑time operational metrics to managers and enabling faster, more informed decisions with clear ROI and wider rollout planned.
