EP‑Nuffic is a Dutch service center that promotes the internationalization of education by compiling mobility and student data from around the EU. Their annual “Mobility in Images” print report became outdated as soon as it was published and couldn’t capture the complexity or timeliness of data coming from many sources, so they needed a way to present up‑to‑date, complex information online.

By switching to Tableau Public and embedding visualizations on their site, EP‑Nuffic consolidated months‑long production into a single, dynamic workflow: new data from sources like UNESCO, OECD, DUO and CBS can be imported and displayed immediately. The result is interactive, visually engaging dashboards that update in real time, broaden coverage beyond higher education, and make it easier to explore trends and generate insights.
