DTDC gets business back on track with a new data culture

DTDC, a 31‑year‑old Indian express parcel and logistics company with 500+ branches, 10,000+ employees and nearly 400,000 daily shipments, faced the challenge of COVID‑19 disruption and a decentralized workforce that needed a single source of truth. The business had already started a multi‑year tech and data transformation but required faster, organization‑wide visibility and “data democracy” to improve agility, cost control and serviceability across India.

DTDC moved its data to Google BigQuery and deployed Tableau Online with support from Team Computers, rolling out about 75 dashboards used by 175+ senior managers to track bookings, deliveries, CRM cases and service KPIs (including map‑based delay analysis).
