Advanced Info Service (AIS) is Thailand’s largest mobile operator with over 40 million subscribers and US$2.48 billion in annual revenue. Although AIS had strong data collection capabilities, access to key business insights was limited to technical users and meetings relied on static, lengthy reports—causing slow decision-making, uneven productivity, and missed opportunities.
In 2016 AIS adopted Tableau under the leadership of its Head of Data Management and Big Data Analytics, expanding self-service access through training, Tableau Clinics and a Center of Excellence. Interactive dashboards replaced static reports, enabling faster, more informed decisions, boosting productivity and seeding an analytics-driven culture supported by ongoing workshops and an annual AIS Analytics Day.
