Thredd, a global fintech company, faced challenges with managing space allocation and meeting room bookings in its new London office due to its hybrid work model. The main issues were a high proportion of meeting room no-shows and the need to efficiently manage a shared desk policy with fewer desks than employees. To empower its staff and optimize its office, Thredd sought a single cloud-based management solution and chose to implement TableAir's desk and meeting room booking system.
TableAir's solution integrated desk booking with a mandatory QR code check-in to track usage and prevent no-shows. For meeting rooms, the system was integrated with Microsoft Outlook and utilized room displays and occupancy sensors to automatically release no-show bookings. This implementation simplified office management, optimized space utilization, and enhanced the employee experience. The success in London allowed Thredd to easily expand the TableAir tools to its other global offices.
