URMC Solves Unique Problems with T2 Flex for PARCS

The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) faced a complex parking challenge across its busy, space-limited medical campus, where patients, visitors, staff, students, and doctors all needed different access at different times. To manage these competing needs, URMC turned to T2 Systems and its T2 Flex PARCS solution.

T2 Systems implemented a unified parking system that enabled flexible permits, AVI-based gate control, and real-time enforcement of lot rules, while also providing data for occupancy analysis and an iPhone parking-availability app. The results included better compliance, improved traffic flow, higher customer satisfaction, and increased revenue; URMC said staff parking in the main garage dropped from several hundred daily to around ten, adding thousands of dollars per day.
