A T2 Systems Case Study
The University of South Florida, a large public university with a busy parking operation, needed a better way to collect revenue from more than 50,000 annual citations, especially when offenders were only identified by license plate or were otherwise difficult to reach. USF Parking & Transportation Services turned to T2 Systems and its T2 Citation Services, along with RoVR, to help locate responsible parties and improve citation collection.
T2 Systems implemented RoVR to identify vehicle owners and used T2 Citation Services to manage collections after USF’s initial contact attempts. The result was strong revenue recovery: USF collected payment on 96% of all citations written over the three most recently completed fiscal years, while keeping bad debt low. Even during the pandemic, citation collections only dropped 20% over the prior 18 months, and USF reported consistently positive customer interactions with T2 Systems’ service.
