MTSU Treasures T2 Tempo™ for Lauded Visitor Parking Experiences

Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) needed a more flexible, mobile-friendly way to manage visitor parking. Its previous process required visitors to create accounts, remember passwords, print passes, and prepare ahead of time, which created friction and generated many support calls. MTSU also wanted to better use underutilized parking spaces and improve the first-and-last campus experience.

T2 Systems implemented T2 Tempo™, a time-based mobile parking management solution, giving visitors a simple way to purchase permits from their phones through QR codes with no printed pass required. The rollout was straightforward and highly configurable for MTSU’s parking structure, and the results included easier parking access, positive feedback from visitors and staff, reduced confusion at check-in, and interest in expanding the system to other campus parking areas.
