Loyola Marymount University - Customer Case Study

Loyola Marymount University (LMU) faced the challenge of creating new parking revenue to help fund a new science building and garage, while preserving its open-campus feel and avoiding gates, physical permits, and added access-control costs. LMU partnered with T2 Systems and used the T2 UNIFI Parking Management Platform with license plate-enabled parking, plus integrated solutions from Genetec AutoVu, Digital, and Parkmobile, to move to a virtual permit model.

T2 Systems helped LMU implement self-serve virtual permits, coupon-code validations, pay-by-cell, and streamlined enforcement with handhelds and LPR. The result was a simpler, more efficient operation that reduced staffing and permit-distribution costs, centralized parking data, and made parking self-funded; LMU reported that parking now funds all parking operations and will help finance garage construction, while users found registration fast and easy.
