Boulder Finds Short-term and Long-term Solutions

City of Boulder needed a more efficient way to manage both long-term permit parking and short-term paid parking while improving parking violation enforcement. The city was already using T2 Systems’ T2 Flex™ unified parking management platform and handheld enforcement software, and wanted a solution that could better integrate with its Genetec AutoVu LPR system.

T2 Systems implemented T2 eTicketbook in-vehicle citation writing software, integrated with AutoVu, to streamline citation issuance and enforcement workflows. The result was faster, more accurate ticketing with far less manual data entry, allowing Boulder to expand enforcement coverage from one district to two and issue 200–300% more citations in LPR-covered areas. The city also reported roughly 9,000 citations per month, about 1,000 of them through eTicketbook, and scofflaw revenue of over $200,000 year-to-date with a projected 20–25% increase for the year.
