Advanced Multi-Space Parking Technology Boosts Operational Efficiency

The University of Central Florida faced growing parking demands, outdated pay stations, and cumbersome accounting processes that were driving up costs and limiting efficiency. To modernize its parking operations and meet PCI security requirements, UCF turned to T2 Systems and its multi-space pay stations, replacing obsolete equipment across garages and surface lots.

T2 Systems implemented a flexible mix of AC- and solar-powered pay stations with mobile broadband communications and the Enterprise Management System (EMS) for remote configuration, alerts, and reporting. The results included recouping purchase and maintenance costs within one year, cutting credit card settlement time from three days to one, reducing reconciliation from five hours per week to one, and lowering rate-setting time from a full workday to 15 minutes.
