Visual CE's Mobile Forms Capability Chosen for Fleet Automation System

har*GIS, LLC, a developer of mobile GIS solutions for automating field operations, needed a fast, flexible way to capture field data and add mobile forms capability to its TruckMap™ fleet automation suite. To meet that challenge har*GIS partnered with SYWARE and built GeoForms on SYWARE’s Visual CE mobile forms development toolset for Windows Mobile devices, enabling crews and dispatchers to create and use forms in the field without programming.

SYWARE delivered a Visual CE–based GeoForms solution with an intuitive drag-and-drop form builder, local database capture, and integration with centralized databases and mapping software. The result was quicker deployment, reduced project development time and costs, and more efficient field data collection and dispatching; SYWARE’s Visual CE platform—used by over 100,000 mobile users—also ensured cross‑platform consistency and easy data sharing with ODBC-enabled systems.
