VakifBank Manages Terminal Server Activities of Subcontractors and Administrators with Ekran System

VakıfBank, one of Turkey’s largest government-run banks with nearly 17,000 employees and over 3,000 subcontractors, needed to centrally supervise administrators and third-party users on terminal servers, control privileged access, retain long-term session recordings for audits, and meet strict banking cybersecurity regulations while staying within budget. After evaluating options, VakıfBank selected Syteca’s Ekran System (following a successful proof of concept) as the best fit for its technical and cost requirements.

Syteca implemented Ekran System to deliver privileged user management, continuous activity monitoring, real-time alerts and automated incident response, optimized centralized session recording and long-term storage, and rich reporting/export capabilities with endpoint-based floating licensing. As a result, VakıfBank gained centralized, fast configuration of access rights, clear visibility into who does what with sensitive data, the ability to review live and recorded sessions and produce immutable evidence for investigations, faster incident response, compliance with regulations, and the flexibility to supervise large numbers of users while staying within budget.
