Continuous Privacy Monitoring for Seoul National University

Seoul National University needed to process and protect large volumes of student personal and sensitive data under the DPA and required continuous privacy monitoring and stronger server-side protections. Syteca was engaged to address this challenge, implementing a continuous privacy-monitoring/security solution based on Ekran System’s monitoring technology.

Syteca deployed Ekran System Clients on every Windows server that stored student records, leveraging keyword-indexed video, a built-in database, and Client Protected mode to prevent tampering. As a result, Seoul National University’s Security Department gained clear, searchable session records and real-time auditing of who accessed sensitive data—achieving full server coverage and improved investigation and compliance capabilities.
