Venca harmonizes inventory to offer better search results and recommendations

Venca, a leading Spanish fashion retailer founded in 1975 with 8.5 million customers and some 25,000 SKUs in its catalogs, needed to improve product search and discovery, streamline inventory tagging, scale into a broader marketplace and boost customer engagement. To address these challenges the retailer evaluated visual AI options and selected Syte’s visual commerce solutions.

Syte implemented a complete visual-AI suite — including Visual Search/Camera Search, Shop the Look, Shop Similar and Deep Tagging — with quick, easily customizable integration and minimal IT overhead. After deployment Venca saw conversion rates 3.79× higher for visual-search users, session duration 3.9× longer, and an 8× conversion uplift when combining textual and visual search; Deep Tagging also harmonized inventory to expand the number of SKUs usable in catalogs.
