A Syte Case Study
Signet Jewelers, the UK division operating H. Samuel and Ernest Jones, needed to remove friction from online product discovery after COVID‑related store closures and to better serve younger, mobile shoppers across thousands of SKUs. To address this, Signet partnered with Syte and adopted Syte’s Visual Discovery Suite to simplify and modernize the digital shopping experience.
Syte implemented Camera Search, the Discovery Button and the Shop Similar recommendation carousel across H. Samuel and Ernest Jones, letting shoppers upload images or tap to find visually similar pieces and continue their journey from PDPs and PLPs. The results were dramatic: conversion increased 6.8X, average order value rose 17.7%, average revenue per user grew 584.5%, and bounce rates fell significantly for shoppers interacting with the Discovery Button.
