Baycrew’s, a Tokyo‑founded fashion retailer with nearly 500 stores and an eCommerce site since 2007, needed to modernize its online shopping experience to stand out in a crowded market and serve shoppers across generations. To expand visual search and discovery, strengthen omnichannel loyalty, and create engaging experiences for millennials and Gen Z, Baycrew’s partnered with Syte and adopted Syte’s Product Discovery Platform, including Camera Search, Discovery Button, and Shop Similar.
Syte implemented these visual‑AI solutions via API, enabling Baycrew’s to build a custom UI with features like a “Search by Snap” inspiration gallery that blends social discovery with seamless purchasing. The result: conversion rate (CVR) rose 1.76X and average order value (AOV) increased 6.13%, while unique visitors and overall engagement improved—helping Baycrew’s set a new standard for eCommerce in their market with Syte.
