Farfetch, the global online luxury fashion retailer, wanted to better connect the 3,000+ brands in its marketplace with interested consumers by making discovery and comparison across brands seamless. To enable discovery of unknown brands by style similarity, allow comparison of visually similar items by price and brand, and help customers act on daily style inspirations, Farfetch partnered with Syte to integrate visual search (including an in-app visual search feature on iOS).
Syte implemented its visual AI visual search solution to power Farfetch’s product-discovery journey across touch points, delivering a redefined and simplified discovery experience. The integration produced a positive response from users, improved fashion discovery across channels, and gave Farfetch a deeper understanding of customer needs to enable more personalized shopping experiences.
