Boohoo, the UK-based online fashion retailer targeting Gen Z and Gen Y (annual revenue ~£580M), needed to improve product discovery, grow basket size, integrate social media into the buying journey, and simplify product tagging without heavy development or major UI changes. To address this, Boohoo worked with Syte to deploy a Visual AI/Visual Search strategy, including Syte’s Camera Search and Shop Similar features.

Syte implemented Visual Search funnels that let shoppers find the exact item or visually similar products quickly. The results were substantial: Camera Search users saw an 85% higher conversion rate and 125% more page visits per session, while Shop Similar engagement drove a 2x higher conversion rate, a 12% increase in average order value, and a 135% rise in pages per session — improving discovery and reducing development overhead.
