Case Study: Nestlé achieves fast, secure, cost-effective multilingual translation in 32 languages with SYSTRAN

A SYSTRAN Case Study

Preview of the Nestlé Case Study

Nestlé, the world largest food and nutrition company with operations in 200 countries was looking for a translation solution to process higher translation volumes, reduce costs and ensure the confidentiality of the translated contents.

Nestlé, the world’s largest food and nutrition company with operations in 200 countries and 350,000+ employees, faced decentralized, human-only translation processes that caused high costs and long delivery times across consumer, employee and Global Business Services communications. To scale volume, reduce costs and protect sensitive content, Nestlé engaged SYSTRAN and its Pure Neural® Server machine translation solution.

SYSTRAN deployed its Pure Neural® Server in a private cloud and integrated it with Nestlé’s XTM TMS, giving about 3,000 users access to MT in 32 languages across seven Global Business Services locations. With MT-only workflows for document understanding (including PDFs and scanned files) plus MT + post-editing via seamless TMS integration, SYSTRAN enabled faster, centralized translations, increased translation throughput, measurable cost savings, GDPR-compliant data handling, customizable glossaries and advanced usage reporting.
