CLAAS, a global leader in agricultural engineering, needed to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service in many languages while guaranteeing data privacy. To replace insecure free online translators and meet requirements for quality, consistency and security, CLAAS selected SYSTRAN and its SYSTRAN Enterprise Server machine-translation solution for integration into the company’s IT systems.

SYSTRAN implemented a customized Enterprise Server with an API and terminology dictionary, deployed via CLAAS’s intranet (initially supporting four language pairs) in a four-month rollout. The SYSTRAN solution provides real-time, formatted translations without risking confidential data, enabling CLAAS teams to perform over 500 translations per day, save substantial time, and significantly improve after-sales communication.
