Takeda, the global pharmaceutical manufacturer, needed a scalable way to implement serialization and aggregation across more than 60 packaging lines in seven countries. To meet evolving regulatory requirements and integrate with its SAP enterprise platform, Takeda looked for a standardized, configurable track-and-trace solution with deep domain expertise and minimal custom code. Systech was selected as the vendor to support this global serialization initiative.

Systech implemented its serialization platform with preconfigured Packaging Integration Modules, standardized documentation, and a fully integrated SAP-based workflow for master data, work orders, and serial number management. The approach enabled repeatable deployments across sites, reduced implementation risk and downtime, and helped individual line serialization and aggregation projects be completed in two weeks. The program also created a foundation for future brand protection through Systech’s UniSecure e-Fingerprint authentication capability.
