Systech Traceability Helps CPO with Costs, Scalability and Compliance

Publicly Held Company, a global provider of flexible manufacturing and packaging for pharmaceutical, biologic and consumer health customers with 10,000+ employees, needed a scalable Level 4 (L4) EPCIS solution to meet DSCSA serialization and secure serialized data exchange. Their incumbent L4 provider proved costly, overly customized, not scalable, and disruptive due to forced multi-tenant upgrades and downtime, so the brand turned to Systech and its cloud-based track-and-trace solution to address compliance, cost and scalability gaps.

Systech delivered a single-tenant cloud L4 EPCIS platform (validated via a one-month proof-of-concept) with label printing, receiving, picking/packing, ERP integration and other warehouse/distribution functions, plus configurable—not customized—software and remote training. The Systech environment let the customer control update timing, perform roughly 50% of new customer connections internally, and accelerate onboarding: mid‑project 48 of 80 targeted customers (60%) were live. The customer moved to Systech as its sole L4 EPCIS provider, realized lower total cost of ownership and faster deployments, and extended the agreement to a three‑year term.
