Allow hospital staff to work from home without compromising the IT security of the healthcare entity

Groupe Hospitalier Universitaire (GHU) Paris psychiatrie et neurosciences, a leading Parisian hospital group, needed to quickly enable secure remote work for its staff in response to the COVID-19 lockdown. The challenge was to rapidly deploy a solution that would not compromise the IT security of the healthcare entity, especially with employees using personal computers.

Systancia implemented its Systancia Gate solution, which utilizes a Zero Trust (ZTNA) approach and HTML5 technology for browser-based access. The solution, deployed in a single weekend by Systancia, allowed around one hundred employees to work remotely. It featured a double authentication system with OTP tokens to secure access, enabling the safe use of personal devices while protecting the hospital's information system from standard attacks.
