XRP, Inc., a South Gate, California manufacturer of high-performance fittings for the racing market with just over 30 employees and more than 5,000 part numbers, faced inventory visibility and forecasting challenges that its legacy RealWorld database could not solve. Needing world-class manufacturing and inventory tracking on a small-business budget, XRP, Inc. evaluated ERP options and selected SYSPRO ERP Software to address manufacturing modules, inventory control and demand forecasting.

XRP, Inc. implemented SYSPRO ERP Software in 2002 and later adopted the SYSPRO Forecasting module as part of Inventory Optimization; the solution provides item/warehouse-level forecasts, seasonal adjustment, outlier removal, multiple algorithms and three-plus years of history with override capability. As a result, SYSPRO ERP Software eliminated frequent negative inventory positions, enabled three-month make‑to‑stock forecasts (using an algorithm that factors a 10% growth figure), sped order turnaround, improved quality control and customer service, and is now used full-time by more than half of XRP’s staff.
