RFG Foods, an internationally recognised producer of convenience meals with 15 manufacturing sites across South Africa and a facility in Eswatini, needed to improve productivity by reducing processing times and enhancing system performance. SYSPRO ERP Software performed a remote technical upgrade to SYSPRO 8 (going live in April 2020), enabling faster SQL-optimized processing, easier integration via Business Objects, and improved stability. RFG Foods reported significant time savings in day, month and year-end processes—shrinking tasks from hours to minutes—which materially boosted productivity for its 24/7 operations and delivered a smooth, measurable improvement.
