RFG Foods, an internationally recognised producer of convenience meals with 15 manufacturing sites across South Africa and a facility in Eswatini, needed to improve productivity by reducing processing times and enhancing system performance. To address this, the company upgraded its ERP to SYSPRO ERP Software’s SYSPRO 8.

SYSPRO ERP Software performed a remote technical upgrade to SYSPRO 8 (going live in April 2020), enabling faster SQL-optimized processing, easier integration via Business Objects, and improved stability. RFG Foods reported significant time savings in day, month and year-end processes—shrinking tasks from hours to minutes—which materially boosted productivity for its 24/7 operations and delivered a smooth, measurable improvement.
