SYSPRO 8 Helps Empire Nuts Manage Strong Growth

Empire Nuts, one of South Africa’s largest edible nut and dried fruit businesses, was struggling to manage rapid growth and numerous ad hoc processes across production, warehousing and finance. As a long-term SYSPRO customer, Empire Nuts turned to SYSPRO ERP Software and upgraded from SYSPRO 7 to SYSPRO 8 to consolidate operations and accelerate its digital transformation to the cloud.

SYSPRO ERP Software implemented SYSPRO 8 (including the Web Interface/Avanti and Work in Progress capabilities), integrated warehouse production, bills of material, inventory and finance, and supported a warehouse scanning rollout with partner Solutus Consulting. The upgrade delivered a single repository used across the business (now managing 1,200 registered debtor accounts), improved productivity and security, and provided end-to-end traceability for food-safety audits—allowing Empire Nuts to trace batches from receipt through to the final customer and strengthen compliance and audit accuracy.
