Pilot Brands, a Lake Tahoe–based importer of lamb, goat and seafood with two warehouses and five regional sales offices, was running on an outdated accounting system and needed an integrated, real-time solution. To address this, Pilot Brands selected SYSPRO ERP Software, implementing SYSPRO e.net solutions and Business Components (purchased via reseller S2 Solutions) to customize inquiry screens and unify sales, inventory and financial processes.

SYSPRO ERP Software was rolled out to 20 concurrent users and immediately delivered tighter, real-time integration of sales orders and remote inventory, faster and more accurate invoicing, live inventory access for field sales, and the ability to accommodate growth without adding staff. Measurable results included month-end close cut from 4–5 days to two days, paperless invoicing with attached documentation, a custom warehouse management system tied into SYSPRO using portable scanners to speed shipments, and clear improvements in staff efficiency and customer satisfaction.
