Loftness Manufacturing, a Minnesota-based maker of farm, forestry and landscape equipment with brands like GrainLogix and SnowLogix, needed to modernize its systems to support growth — upgrading to a SQL database, creating custom reports, improving data management and expanding ERP functionality while optimizing existing processes. To address this, Loftness selected SYSPRO ERP Software to standardize and extend its operations across finance, manufacturing and reporting.

SYSPRO ERP Software was implemented (including SYSPRO Manufacturing, Financials, SQL Manager, Report Writer, MRP and related modules) on an HP Proliant for 24 concurrent users, enabling accurate inventory, smoother product flow, more efficient job processing and tighter purchasing and sales controls. The solution reduced back-ordered parts, improved production planning and customer service, and — according to Loftness — delivered an “intangible efficiency” that let the company handle higher volumes and greater product variety (Loftness fills roughly 4,000 orders per month for 2,600 customers) without increasing office, management or warehouse support staff.
