Grand Technologies Finds SYSPRO Software a Grand Solution

Grand Technologies, a Grand Rapids distributor of machine automation control components serving about 400 customers, faced an outdated ERP with no upgrades and several replacement ERPs that were weak on inventory tracking. Needing strong inventory management for more than 500 distinct items, Grand Technologies evaluated and selected SYSPRO ERP Software (implementing SYSPRO enterprise software on Microsoft Windows) to address its inventory and reporting challenges.

SYSPRO ERP Software was implemented in early 2004 with an eight-user license (four full-time users), and the rollout proved straightforward. The SYSPRO solution gave Grand improved inventory control, the ability to download data into spreadsheets for trend analysis, create inventory groupings and custom reports, and build their own forms and invoices — delivering greater visibility and time- and cost-savings for the business.
