Delta Scientific, a Canada-based distributor of lab chemicals, consumables and equipment serving 1,000+ customers and holding ISO 9001:2015 certification, faced time-consuming manual inventory and accounting processes and needed complete traceability to support customer compliance. As a long-term user of SYSPRO ERP Software, Delta sought to leverage additional SYSPRO ERP capabilities to improve efficiency and meet traceability requirements.

Using SYSPRO ERP Software, Delta implemented serial tracking and inventory modules to trace products from supplier to customer and provide expiry information, and adopted SYSPRO’s EFT and Cash Book functions to automate payments and interbank transfers. The solution, supported by SYSPRO’s partner Phoenix Systems, saved more than 80% of the time previously spent on processing payments, delivered significant person-hour savings across inventory and accounting, and strengthened traceability for audits and customer compliance.
