Air Flow Research, a 25-employee automotive cylinder-head manufacturer, faced unsupported delivery schedules, an isolated accounting system, poor planning capabilities and limited inventory visibility that led to manual errors and lost shop documentation. To address these challenges they selected SYSPRO ERP Software, deploying modules including the Product Configurator, MRP/APS, CRM and a custom DNC interface to replace their simple accounting package and provide integrated shop-to-office control.

SYSPRO ERP Software implemented a fully integrated ERP with a Product Configurator, Advanced Planning & Scheduling, SYSPRO CRM, bar-coded work orders and a DNC link to CNC machines, enabling real-time WIP tracking and automated inventory transactions. The solution eliminated manual inventory errors for the roughly 5,000 sets of cylinder heads produced annually, provided accurate job tracking, reduced human error, improved customer service with live order status access, and delivered 360-degree visibility into production.
