Case Study: ATPCO achieves 24/7 secure, end-to-end visibility for fare distribution with Sysdig on Red Hat OpenShift

A Sysdig Case Study

Preview of the ATPCO Case Study

Using Sysdig to Monitor and Secure Travel Data Services on Red Hat OpenShift

ATPCO, the airline industry’s central fare data engine serving more than 430 airlines and managing over 211 million active fares, needed to modernize from monolithic apps to cloud-native microservices while maintaining 24/7 availability. As it moved workloads to Red Hat OpenShift, ATPCO required deeper visibility and stronger security across thousands of containers to ensure reliable, high-performance fare distribution and rapid development cycles.

ATPCO deployed the Sysdig Cloud-Native Visibility and Security Platform (Monitor and Secure) on OpenShift to gain end-to-end observability, image scanning, runtime threat detection, policy-based isolation, and team-scoped access controls. The result was faster, safer releases, improved incident response and forensics, consolidated DevOps and security workflows, and the ability to process millions of fare changes quickly—enabling more confident rollouts of new products and continuous 24/7 service.
