Cota Healthcare is a data and analytics company that builds research-grade clinical datasets and tools (including its Cota Nodal Address™) to improve cancer care. Entrusted with millions of patient records and moving its stack to Kubernetes on Google Cloud, Cota needed stronger security for sensitive data, end-to-end visibility into microservices, and ways to preserve developer productivity as the team scaled.

Cota deployed the Sysdig cloud-native visibility and security platform (Monitor + Secure) on GKE, gaining full container and host context, custom Prometheus/StatsD metrics, and automated agent coverage. The result: a stronger first line of defense against breaches, faster troubleshooting and forensics, improved developer velocity with self-service observability, and lower infrastructure costs through better capacity planning.
