Case Study: Everalbum achieves unified container, Kubernetes and hybrid-server observability with Sysdig

A Sysdig Case Study

Preview of the Everalbum Case Study

Everalbum - Customer Case Study

Everalbum, a San Francisco–based, mobile-first photo backup service, moved from a VM-based stack to a containerized architecture running across AWS, Google Container Engine and Heroku. During that transition they needed monitoring that could cover dozens of hosts, Kubernetes orchestration, cloud-provider services, non-containerized stateful apps like Postgres, and custom statsd metrics — all with minimal configuration for rapidly changing containers.

They adopted Sysdig’s container-native monitoring, which auto-discovers services (without in-container agents), leverages Kubernetes metadata for logical service views and namespace separation, and natively captures statsd and HTTP endpoint metrics. The result was unified visibility and better alerts for both containerized and non-container workloads (including GPU jobs and Postgres), simpler configuration for dynamic services, and growing company-wide adoption that sped operations and deployments.
