A Synthace Case Study
Syngenta, a global agricultural leader with a 5,000+ strong scientific workforce, needed to make protein production more reproducible and to increase scientist uptake of automation. Their Biologicals team faced three key challenges: low adoption of automation, time‑consuming refactoring of complex liquid‑handler scripts, and poor traceability/reproducibility of experiments and data. To address this, Syngenta partnered with Synthace and adopted the Synthace Experiment Platform (using Core and Data Elements and the no‑code workflow builder) to modernize their workflows.
Synthace delivered adaptable, device‑agnostic automated workflows that scale with sample numbers and embed in‑line data processing and decision points, plus barcoded sample tracking and automated metadata capture. As a result, Syngenta can build complex workflows in days instead of weeks or months, reduce manual data wrangling, increase reproducibility and traceability, and free scientists to focus on higher‑value work — outcomes driven by the Synthace platform’s no‑code interface, automated instructions, and integrated data handling.
