World Finer Foods Saves Infrastructure Costs with Syntax’s Oracle ERP Cloud Solutions

World Finer Foods, a food and beverage company based in Bloomfield, New Jersey, had long relied on Syntax to support its Oracle E-Business Suite environment. When its servers neared obsolescence and a costly hardware refresh loomed, the customer needed a more cost-effective way to keep Oracle running while maintaining business continuity.

Syntax moved World Finer Foods’ Oracle infrastructure into Syntax Enterprise Cloud for Oracle EBS and provided remote managed services, Oracle EBS consulting, and ongoing support. When the servers unexpectedly crashed before migration, Syntax performed an emergency cutover to its data center within two hours and restored Oracle by the next day. The result was reduced infrastructure costs, stable Oracle availability for more than 18 years, and lower headcount costs through remote services.
