The International Group, Inc.’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Upgrade Marks Latest Milestone in Two Decade Partnership with Syntax

The International Group, Inc. (IGI), a Toronto-based manufacturing company, needed a trusted partner to help upgrade its JD Edwards environment and streamline key business processes. IGI turned to Syntax and its JD Edwards consulting services after years of successful collaboration and prior system modernization work.

Syntax guided IGI through major JD Edwards upgrades, including the move from JD Edwards World to EnterpriseOne and later to EnterpriseOne 9.2, deploying modules such as Transportation and Quality along the way. The results were strong: both major upgrades were completed on time and under budget, with the 9.2 project finishing 15% under budget, while also reducing Oracle support costs, improving security and the user interface, and enabling future mobile functionality.
