Ledcor’s 900 User JD Edwards Upgrade Mission Accomplished On-Time and On-Budget

Ledcor Group, a large employee-owned construction and infrastructure company, needed to upgrade its JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment to support growth, improve security and stability, and increase functionality and usability for more than 900 users. With rising demand on the system and a need for better training and process documentation, Ledcor turned to Syntax for help with the JD Edwards upgrade and related services.

Syntax provided full-service implementation support, including project management, technical and application consulting, security redesign, testing, training materials, and Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) content development. The upgrade was completed on time and on budget, with 400 training documents and simulations developed, over 850 business processes documented and tested, and training delivered to 900 users. Ledcor reported the project as a 100% success and saw improved execution, better use of existing JD Edwards functionality, and a stronger foundation for future process improvements.
