NOW TV, a UK-based video-on-demand and broadband provider, faced significant challenges in analyzing its customer experience data. Their Adobe Analytics clickstream data was fragmented across different platforms, difficult to interpret, and processing it in a legacy Hadoop environment was extremely slow, requiring analysts to write complex, time-consuming SQL queries. Seeking a scalable solution for their global expansion, they partnered with Syntasa to gain deeper, data-driven customer insights.

The solution implemented by Syntasa was its Customer Intelligence Platform, which automated a data pipeline natively within NOW TV's Google Cloud infrastructure. It unified and enriched the complex clickstream data, making it easily accessible for analysis. This resulted in a 500x faster data processing speed and reduced query times from 1,700 seconds to just 3.4 seconds. Syntasa's platform recaptured 48% of the analytics team's capacity, enabling faster, self-service reporting and the rapid creation of new behavioral dashboards in Tableau.
