Integrating Security Into CI/CD With Seeker IAST From Synopsys

EL AL Israel Airlines, the country’s national carrier serving over 5.5 million passengers annually, needed to secure a diverse portfolio of web, mobile, and API applications developed across multiple stacks. Traditional manual penetration testing was costly and surfaced vulnerabilities too late in the lifecycle, so EL AL sought an easy-to-use, low‑maintenance in-house testing solution that could detect issues early without slowing CI/CD pipelines or adding workload to development, QA, or security teams.

EL AL selected Synopsys Seeker IAST, which integrates into CI/CD and monitors applications during functional tests to provide real-time, verified vulnerability findings tied to business impact. Seeker reduced false positives, delivered exact code locations and remediation guidance, and fostered developer–security collaboration. Implementation was quick and efficient, Seeker became a deployment requirement, and EL AL reported improved secure development practices, faster releases, and lower remediation costs.
